Hey, I think that I could definitely help you guys out. There's a lot of things that I think need to change to get new members. The only problem with my site is that it is poorly advertised. I've noticed that there's about 29 members. I don't know how many are active, but I have some suggestions. Admins, please post if you want to be tormented more by my contradictions.

ANYTHING to make this place better. What are your thoughts?

Post them, Cero, since I say it's good that a member points out the forum's flaws because it gives us a different perspective on certain things.

There are too many stats to keep track of while reading the template. I believe that it would just be easier posting in your description weather they're fast or not. I didn't read a scale on the damage points system, which is usually and most easily used on a scale of low-medium-high damage. I also did not read a limit of how high any of your stats can be. for what I read, they could be all maximum, which is unfair. All reploids should have the same build-stronger than humans-humans have a fitness level. I like that here.
Another think that I don't like is the order of the forums- why is this at the bottom?
no currency?
There is no area to classify which members are Maverick/ Resistance.
I think that the rules are a little to concise, and deserve a bit more bulk- put everything into one rule forum.
Honestly, this is the most unorganized forum I have seen.

1.) To start, the stat system was intended just to be something a little bit extra to add to the RP. There wasn't going to be a battle system revolved around this, simply a way to describe your character using numbers. Obviously, if you have a high power, your attacks will do more which was the thought around the damage scale. The stats can be as high as you want them, which would help out later on with members who've been here awhile. They won't be able to reach a peak then stop, which could happen. For just creating a character there is a limit to your stats. You are restricted to the points given to you on the template. You can't start out with 100 Core Points. At MAX you can have something along the lines of 18. 2.) Forum order is just preference. For instance, I've mainly been apart of forums that have their general section at the bottom and sometimes not even a general section. I'm not picky about where the general category is at, so if you think it really needs to be moved, I'll move it. 3.) Yes. No currency. Partially because I don't know how to work it in the forum (but I know And member, Qaz, does), but mainly because...well...whats the point? The only thing gained from it is the ability to buy weapons and Cyber Elves. I could probably work in a shop where you could buy new parts and upgrades, but I don't think its too essential. I want members that gain gain their own items, not just buy them. I don't want to have several members with the same items. I like originality, so having a store would cause members to be a lot like everyone else.. I will say I could be swayed to get a currency system here, but you would need to persuade me. 4.)There is no need to classifications. If you look at the member's information on the left, you'll see what faction they are apart of. For instance, Omega is apart of Weil's Numbers, so you'll see "Weil's Numbers" right below my stars. I like this a lot better than having a thread of factions. Its still not a bad idea. 5.) At this point, I think concise is good. I believe we've covered the essentials and made it nice and easy to read. I dread having to read 30 minutes worth of rules just to have it pretty much repeat itself. If members begin to take advantage of this place, I'll change them and make them more specific, but for now I think we're good. 6.) I will say that the rules are slightly disorganized. Everything is straightforward, so its not that confusing. I'll change the rules section so its centralized, but there isn't much to merge. Just Cyber Elves, general rules, and anything else thats left my mind right now. If this is the most disorganized place you've seen, then you haven't seen much . That, or I've just seen the worst side to forums, which is likely.

I believe that when you said that you like originality, isn't a good thing. It has it's pros and cons- pro:Someone might want to look for a forum with originality, Con: someone might not be used to something totally new, it might be hard for them to learn. I start off alike, then add on new things as members increase.
Concise is good, but sometimes it may not say enough.
If someone wants to look for a maverick member only, the profile may be at the bottom of the list, they might have to go through the entire thing.... g2g finish later.

Well actually, it's more complicated then that. Originality is the cause of many a writer's block, as brainstorming may not work, and inspiration may be hard to come by. And yet, at the same time, originality, when it is good, becomes creativity, leading to successful RPing. Originality may also lead to unbalanced results in a fight, where one, a loopholer, may easily bypass the things attempted by a follower of the KIS (Keep it Simple) rule. At the same time, loopholers create confusing RPs, and when people are not use to such, they make complaints for metagaming and powerplaying, though neither have happened.

Another thing: One can't be maverick?!? I've never heard of that. Maybe I haven't been to very many sites...? You are leaving all of the plot work up to pure NPC controlled by the admins? Why not have one character at a time. One or two be allowed to have a maverick character, non- NPC. Fights against every one in the plots- will generally be harder to beat, but must die after a certain # of plots?
My point: Why just have the admins opinion in plots with the mavericks. There must be more diversity. Plus, someone needs to help them out.
I thought up this system just now, I'm liking it for this site. Omega?
It doesn't seem that you can be maverick. By reading the template, it says......

I beg to differ Cero. Because read this little strip that's in the character template underneath faction.
I rest my case here.

After a week of thinking, I've come to realize that all members are stupid! They don't know perfect design for anything! I QUITE!I've thought about your suggestions Cero and I think that they will help the place out. Yes, even having a currency system. The new template can really benefit having a currency, and make it more interesting. I'll get with Qaz about how to download a program for Proboards that works it into the board. I'm going to semi-rewrite the rules to have it make more sense. I'll fix the faction description to make the factions more clear. I don't really have Weil's Numbers on there yet since...well...the faction has yet to be formed. After I'm down traveling, I'll get that faction off the ground and add it to the list. I'm going to make more changes again to the template. LAST TIME, I PROMISE! It'll make the template better to understand (hopefully...) Keep the complaints comments coming. I'm ready for 'em

Okay, you've made the updates. Now for me to complain! Okay, for me, the CPUs are understandable. The Core techniques, not so much, unless I'm right in thinking the only thing they do now is raise stats, and raise stats only.

You're kidding? Currency is money. Types of currencies are yen, dollars, pounds, etc.
